River Park Development Project Landscape Plan

River Park Development Project Information

The Environmental Impact Report as well as additional project information from the developer has been released to the public. This is in reference to the old Oil Operator's land between the Wrigley Dog Park/Wrigley Heights and the 710, with access from Wardlow Rd. Board Sends Letter Regarding Willow Springs Park

On Monday, October 24th, 2021, the Board unanimously voted to send a letter to the City Manager and Council Districts 6 & 7 formally requesting to be kept up-to-date on any progress on making Willow Springs Park a fully dedicated City Park. Click the link below to read the letter.

Letter to Councilmember Regarding 3701 Pacific Place

Upcoming Public Hearing for 201 W PCH on Nov 5 @ 5PM

At 5:00pm on November 5, 2020, the Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing regarding the proposed development at 201 W PCH.  To join the virtual hearing, click the "Join Hearing" button below and register using the instructions on the Planning Commission's website.

Upcoming Proposed Projects in Wrigley Area

Two large developments are being reviewed by the Planning Department to be built here in the Wrigley Area.  The first is a multi-use property located at 201 W PCH, and the second at 3701 Pacific Place.  Comments regarding 201 W PCH can be sent to Gina.Casillas@longbeach.gov or PlanningCommissioners@longbeach.gov, and comments regarding 3701 Pacific Place can be sent to Cuentin.Jackson@longbeach.gov. Board Urges Vice Mayor to Develop Wrigley Village Plan

At a City Council Meeting in 2018, Vice Mayor Andrews promised he would develop a Wrigley Village Plan concerning development and rezoning the area commonly known as the Pacific Ave Business Corridor in Wrigley. Now that proposals for major development and rezoning are starting to make their way through the Planning Department, we are calling on the Vice Mayor to develop the Wrigley Village Plan before any development or rezoning gets approved. Board Releases Statement Regarding 201 W PCH

The Wrigley Association Board met with JR van Dijs, Inc. in July 2020 regarding their proposed development and zoning change of the property located at 201 W PCH.  While we do not oppose the development outright, we do have concerns regarding the details of their proposal.  As a result, we have put together a statement outlining our concerns and have forwarded them to the appropriate Planning officer, Alexis Oropeza.  To read our statement, please click "View Statement" below.
